I have been using subject air traffic control software for a short while. I like it better than the Flight Sim ATC in that it is very successful in using the STAR and SID on my long flights. Just my opinion.

I've tried a number of them and I think pro-atc was one of them, also Radar Contact - but settled on VoxATC which I like the voice recognition aspect of it. It's not perfect and the updates and fixes should be more frequent, but I like the realism of the voice recognition.

That sounds like an option also. I had been using Radar Contact but it didn't work too well when I upgraded to P3d v4.1

I have used Radar Contact and PF3 with no problems on P3Dv4. I think whatever you use it is not the same as live. I just don't like talking to my computer it makes me feel odd. That is however a personal feeling. Yet I have no problems with the other method. My Mother always said I was odd.
