Pilots wishing to use FSFK for ACARS, please contact me by email for the spa template described in the following instructions:
First place your spa.txt file:
To find the path to your templates folder go to FSFK top menu and chosose 'file->options’ then click the ‘files/folders’ tab. This shows default paths of fsfk. Find the path to folder for 'templates folder' then open this in file explorer as shown below and drop your spa.txt folder in that templates folder.

Next set your options, pilot and logbook pirep settings:
Options
in the same opions screen where you clicked the files/folders tab, click the templates/email tab.
Select edit button by the Web PIREP setting and choose spa.txt as the template.
<img src="www.stpaulairlines.com/images/options settings.jpg" alt="options">
Pilot
From main menu at top of fsfk choose pilots->Edit
In the pilot info screen set your pilot ID number (DON’T USE 534 BECAUSE THAT’S MY
ID NUMBER AND YOU DON’T WANT TO GIVE ME CREDIT FOR YOUR FLIGHTS).
Next set the Web PIREP to spa.txt.
<img src="www.stpaulairlines.com/images/pilot settings.jpg" alt="pilot settings">
logbook
From the main menu at top of fsfk choose logbooks->edit
in the logbook info screen set the Web PIREP to spa.txt
<img src="www.stpaulairlines.com/images/logbook settings.jpg" alt="logbook settings">
Note: There is a button on the main flight page in FSFK that sends your PIREP. You will likely receive two responses (one from FSFK, and a return response from SPA). Both must show as "successful" to have a successful upload of your PIREP.

I think so Bill, I put it up there no too long ago, but I've been using my SPAACARs program lately so haven't been using FSFK for a while.
Let me know if you have questions or issue and I'll try to help.

Let me second Bill's opinion about SPAACARS. I have been using it for some time now and I think it's great. SPAACARS is only one of the good new things which John has brought to SPA. In addition to running our "HR Department" and maintaining our website, he has also automated our monthly Hub awards and provided a running monitor of pilot activity. I think that this last feature in particular is leading to increased interest in flying among our pilots. It sure motivates me to find a way to stay on the "leader board". Thanks for all of your hard work John.
