One more day for multiplayer flight on Vancouver Island

Pilots,

We still have about 7 stops left on our Vancouver Island Seaplane Tour, so we'll be scheduling another flight date soon - perhaps next Thursday. We had a fun flight today with great scenery, but the distance between landings resulted in a bit less progress than the first day's flying. We decided to complete the tour on at a future date. Stay tuned for that flight information. I'm also hoping to issue a participation award icon for pilots who flew at least on of the 3-day multiplayer flights for this tour. I've yet to put that together, and I hope I can remember the pilots who flew with us so far.

Hope you can all join us on the next and last part of the Vancouver Island Tour Multiplayer Flight.

Sorry I missed you guys yesterday. We have a Utility easement behind our home and noticed lots of activity and heavy duty equipment trucks. Duke Energy is replacing some of the transformers in our area with a new "smart" version. They said it wasn't going to affect our service because our subdivision has already been upgraded. NOT !!!

After about a half dozen power spikes and then a brownout we decided to pick up a few Italian hoagie sandwiches at the local deli and spend the afternoon roaming around the grounds of Bok Tower. We lucked put and found a nice shady spot at the base of the tower and enjoyed our lunch and a bit of wine while listening to the beautiful Carillon music.

Looking forward to the joining the group on those last legs of the Tour.

Hey Smitty, too bad... we wondered where you were. Timing is everything I guess - and some things just can't be helped. For those that missed this tour, I believe it's posted in Larry's special Ops page also as a regular SOP tour. Those with FTX/Orbx scenery will enjoy some great scenery.

We ended at YRC, but neither Bill nor I had YRC scenery there, so I would suggest the next starting location be CAE3, but I haven't had a chance to discuss this with Larry yet.

l want to apologized to John and Bill for bailing out earlier at the end of the last leg of the flight yesterday, l didn't know the "telephone repairman" was going to disconnect my "DSL" line.
Fortunately, he found a loose or disconnected wire in the box....problem fix. Will be with you for the last float flight without interruption.

By the way, l`ve posted a photo of the "Refuge Cove Seaplane Base"... (YRC) seaport base from my P3Dv4 on the photo page last week, just in case you didn`t have that scenery. Looks very busy compare to others seaport.
It`s a freeware from Orbx. Check it out. The last part of the flight should start at (YRC) to CAG9) 7 waypoints all together.

See you all on the last part of the float plane flight

Thanks for YRC scenery free from Orbx. John and I were looking all over for anything after you said the scenery was great....<img src="tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif" alt="smile"> I just installed it for the next flight.

Great Bill. l just sent an e-mail to John to let him know about it. l was looking in the addon`s scenery files for that seaport, (YRC)
couldn`t find it. Then on a hunch, l found it as a freeware on the Orbx website. Must of downloaded it from m last big updates
from Orbx. Nice scenery for a freebie.
