Welcome to the next of the regular multiplayer flights that Larry and John host at SPA.
We can adjust future plan days and times as necessary to accommodate as many SPA pilots as possible. For now - a Sunday flight, at 2000 Zulu makes it 1500 or 3pm for those of us in Central time like I am, an early flight (0600) for those ‘down under’ in Australia, and a really late flight for Yoland in Switzerland (2200). Just set your sim time at 1200 and we should all be enjoying sunshine – if our real-world weather settings permit.
This flight takes us to my home state of Minnesota, also local to many other SPA pilots who live around the MSP hub. We start this flight in the Brainerd Lakes area at BIR – the Brainerd Intl Raceway airport, then work our way north through Bemidji and on up to Thief River Falls. The smallest airstrip is 5MN2 in Bagely, MN at 2499ft.

A detailed description of the what to expect along with flight plans in
FSX and FS9 format are included in this download zip file.
Contact me if you have problems downloading, opening or using the files,
or if you have problems using the SPA servers. We look forward
to seeing you.

Flight today at 2000 Zulu (3pm MN time). Vikings fans - if it's a close game and you wish to join us afterward - just pop in and we'll let you know where we're at along the hop-list. We usually fly till about 5pm.

edited by: jer029, Oct 12, 2014 - 06:02 AM

Not the most exciting scenery - but not the worst either - and certainly better than the Vikings game!
Thanks Larry for taking time away from your visiting relatives to fly most of the circuit.
Thanks to George for joining us from faraway Greece. The more pilots - the more fun!
