Gentlemen,

Good news! The weather forecast for tomorrow morning has improved. We'll have custom weather: One cloud layer (cumulous, Bkn (6/8), 4500'-8500', moderate rain) and two visibility layers (500'-4500', 10 miles and 4500'-8500', 2 miles). Wind will be 030/15. Set your simulator time for 1500 Z, it will be light enough to fly. I plan to fly the Maule Orion taildrager with skis and wheels. Search areas for assignment are posted in the photo section (Mike's Miscues). Hint, for those of you with GPS equipped aircraft, you can extract lat/long coordinates for your search area from the sectional. OBTW, if you want to improve your scenery on the Kenai, go to www.flightsim.com and download xalas38.zip and xalas382.zip, 38 meter terrain mesh for FSX.
