SPAACARS Version 2.3 Released

SPAACARS version 2.3 released and available for download - as always, same zip file, just copy the new files over the old ones.

This version includes optional landing rate upload to SPA website (configured by clicking the checkbox in the settings menu).

This version also includes ETE time upload to the SPA ACARS information area on the main SPA webpage.

Sorry this program caused you problems. Not sure what might be the cause. I'll look around and continue testing it for problems that I can identify.

Let me understand - the SPAACARS program is making FSX stop working or just the SPAACARS program stops working and FSX keeps working?

For any pilot using SPAACARS with similar issues please advise. Also - if you know how, please check your application log under windows event logs in control panel and advise me of any and all errors and error messages related to this - both in the event log and those that pop up when a problem happens:

Control Panel-> Administrative Tools-> Event Viewer, select Custom Views-> Administrative Events.
One of the listed events will be for your CTD. The "Faulting Module" should point to the problem area.

Also FSX/Modules/FSUIPC log file

But I can't help wanting to get to the cause of problems like this.

I'll continue testing and researching on this end.

I've been using this latest update for some time now and have been unable to replicate your problem Yoland. Perhaps it is related to Windows 10, as I don't have that on my systems that I currently use.

There should be no significant changes in this latest release that would cause problems that would not appear in earlier release. I would need to know what the window event log and fsuipc log might say to help understand why you see errors where nobody else has yet.

If anyone else flies with Windows 10 or otherwise has similar errors with the latest version of SPAACARS please let me know.
