First, many thanks to pilots who are testing this program and dealing with the frustrating error messages that need to be resolved. Perhaps I sent it out too soon without working with it longer myself.

Anyway, I'll leave it out for pilots to try and will probably set a separate forum area to deal with matters regarding this program.

I will begin new version numbers on the next release, but for now I've made some changes to the original download. the current exe file should be dated 9-8-15 at 5:36PM. If in doubt, just redownload it, unzip it, and copy all the files into your working SPAACARS folder, replacing the existing files. This initial, unversioned update fixes a bug where error message is sent when trying to load certain flight plans into the SPAACARS, and some Send - errors at the end of flight.

Major Note: A noted current issue is that SPAACARS doesn't deal with plane crashes yet, so you must not try to send a log after a plane crash - even if it will let you. In this case - if you've completed your flight when you crash, just use the 'save as text file' option and enter your pirep manually. I will fix this next release.

Thanks for your continued patience while we work out these first-release bugs.

John why flying a Cessna 207 I had to switch to the right fuel tank as the left tank was empty. When I did, I received the error can't change fuel. I didn't add fuel by that action. This was in X-Plane.

Can't say for sure Ron, as I don't use Xplane or that aircraft. What I can tell you is that SPAACARS checks for fuel discrepancy to ensure there aren't major fuel changes mid-flight. How the sim handles fuel tank changes and other settings and how they might affect the reading of the fuel on board I can't say either. What I can say is that when SPAACARS sends that message, it also includes the fuel value it's expecting to see. Generally, in cases like you describe, the current fuel level of your sim is off just a bit, but enough outside the allowable margin to trip the SPAACARS error. Changing your fuel to the value indicated in the error message will allow you to reset the error message and continue your flight without it popping up again. I've encountered similar...I think when I left unlimited fuel during the Earhart Round the World flight. When it runs out of fuel and resets or something it would throw that error. Again, resetting the fuel to the value in the error message allows you to clear it and carry on.
