Sent...I hope it helps...I have not tried to switch to windows mode myself as I use full screen, except for online flights.

Sorry, I don't think I am getting the acceleration pack anytime soon. I sure hope to get it though one day.

Naresh,
Good move. I'd wait. I thought Acceleration with the highly anticipated SP2 would make things better for me; it did just the opposite, along with 90 percent of all those who have an Nvidia graphics card. I completely removed FSX from my machine last night, did a deep defrag, reinstalled RTM, ran it, looked ok, defragged again, reboot, and then installed Acceleration/SP2....ran it, looked good, and as soon as I tried to use the menu (alt-any menu selection) freeze and CTD. Rebooted, tried FSX again, this time tried to go to Windoewed mode via Alt-Enter, lock up...freeze, and to shut my computer off manually. So, until NvIdia/Aces, or whomever figure out whats going on, its back to square 1 with a uninstall of FSX, and reinstall it AGAIN. What a major pain in the ass.
