Pilots,

You can now fly Hurricane Ian Relief Flights.  The flight plan is posted under Charters in the Bush Ops area:

Thank you John.

Ian was one for the record books. Naples, Venice, Charlotte County, Fort Meyers and North Port took the brunt of it with CAT4 winds and some with 6 to 8 foot storm surges. We were lucky and only had to endure 75 to 105 gusts and blowing torrential rains. Our little home held up wonderfully with minor exterior damage and we had electric back on in a day and a half.

Again TX for thinking about us and including the SPA Virtual flights.

BTW: I've been trying to figure out the XP-12 Beta for the past two weeks.. I really like XP-12 but it's going to be quite a learning curve to learn the XP-12 procedures. You'll see more of me in the very near future.

Glad to hear from those of you MIA-based pilots who have survived the storm.  I've been following it like most everyone else, as I have other friends and family who have resettled down there in recent years from here in Minnesota.

I occasionally try to include significant events into our flight options, as I did some time ago with the California fires.  That was back with my FSX/P3D Adventure Pack flights that had the added fun of custom effects and scenery.  Eventually MSFS will get to the point where I can once again include Adventures with that level of detail, but for now we will muddle along with the standard MSFS offerings.

Wishing you all the best of luck as the clean-up and rebuilding process begins.

Happy flying,

John
