What a wonderful mix of destinations, landscapes and topography. This was a little over two weeks of great scenery, crazy weather and far off the beaten path experiences. Hadn't flown the Australian Continent since FS9 days and the old OZ scenery. I can certainly attest to the fact that ORBX and their V2 of the Custom Australian Land Class is truly a game changer. I found myself looking up not only info on the airports but also checking out the history and/or points of interest in many of the towns and areas visited on the tour. Looking forward to taking on the Western Australian Tour.

Didn't really add them up, but I'm guessing that it took about 40 flight hours to complete in my Low and Slow fleet of Bush, GA and Commuter type A/C. Not really sure who to contact, but looks like I get to join the the Fleet Captain ranks. I hope that doesn't mean you're not allowed to fly the left seat in a fishing shirt, shorts and flip flops.

Well, I'm off to Woomera, Oodnadatta, Fitzroy Crossing and of course Paraburdoo..........

Smitty,

Sounds like you are having a fabulous time in Australia. Those scenery add-ons make a huge difference for VFR flying.

Contact your Hub Manager (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) about your promotion. The promotion process is not automated and it's easy for Hub Managers to miss the event when you pass a milestone. I know, I've done it myself many, many times.
