For those pilots here who are not aware of it, check out the iPad version of Foreflight. You can download the Foreflight app to your iPad. Then, you can connect your Foreflight app on your iPad to your flight simulator by connecting your computer and your iPad to the same WiFi router. This way, you can flight plan on your iPad using Foreflight and watch your simulator flight progress on the iPad.

Hey Robert, yes - I've been using Foreflight for at least the past 2 or 3 years now, although I no longer use it with the wifi connection to the simulator because it makes the flying too easy. It's like GPS on steroids. I do like using it to plan my flights and using the real-world charts to navigate with.
Anyone interested be advised that this is software used by actual pilots and is quite expensive (annually). Also, my 10-year old Ipad struggles to keep up and crashes the app quite often, so I really have to upgrade that device again I guess.
