I finally had the opportunity to meet Naresh in person today after planning to get together for a 39-mile bike ride . It was great catching him up on what's been going on here at SPA, just too bad I couldn't catch him during the bike ride . He said he's thinking of joining us again soon. We can only hope so. Too bad Mike wasn't close enough to join us for this meetup of bike-riding St. Paul Airlines Managers here in Minnesota.

Hey Jim, nice to see a number of you senior SPA members still around. I think it says something about the quality of St. Paul Airlines, and more so about the people who make our VA what it is. Yes, I watched the videos, slideshows and audios of some of the early adventures - and felt that I missed out on a lot of fun.

Larry and I tried some multi-player flights a while ago, but we didn't have much luck getting many pilots. Perhaps a Saturday night might be a better option for us. We've been talking about starting that up again. I think the most fun I've had on a SPA multi-player flight was with our Adventure Pack-8, Doolittle's Tokyo Raid flight, where we had 5 pilots participating. It was great fun to have that number of planes flying in formation (or trying to) on a historic mission. I still enjoy watching the video of our flight now and again:

I'm looking forward to more multiplayer flights, and the more pilots the more fun it seems. Especially when you can have some action-packed stuff like bombing Tokyo and/or making carrier landings. That kind of stuff just adds to the fun.
