Not sure what the issue is. Yes...SPAACARs requires simconnect - but also FSUIPC - and the p3dv4 version of FSUIPC if you're using p3dv4.

We should work at figuring out why 10.6 isn't working. Older versions are no longer able to upload pireps to the site... or eventually won't be able to.
Unfortunately, I can't find a recent change log as to what is different in 10.6 from earlier versions. I got really lazy on those later update. Not good - sorry.
Anyway, we should really try to troubleshoot why it isn't connecting.
