Adventure Pack update

Hello pilots,

Just checking in to let you know that I'm hard at work on the next adventure pack. I hope to have it ready by the end of the month, but don't want to release it until it's worth the effort of downloading and installing, and that means having three adventures to fly. 1 of 3 already completed and starting on the second. I'm learning new stuff like animating some objects - far from proficient, but expect to see some of them wiggle a little in future releases.

And now a hint on the next release; It involves more true air crash incidents where one of the three actually involves a rescue as part of the true story. Unfortunately the other two are total loss as is often the case when things go bad in the sky, but we can replicate the flights successfully in some cases - and search and locate the wreckage in any case.

Except for the occasional diversion, I've always been fascinated by the true stories of air crashes and have read many of the books. These are the tales I recreate for you to fly and explore.

Besides animation, I've been expanding my scenery creation skills. So much to learn and that slows down my progress. Oh, I did update (clean up) the Adventure Pack page a bit, but now I notice that our members "Where are we located" map is gone - no doubt a change by Google Maps that requires me to mend another fence - when I find the time and inclination.

Until then, thank you for flying St. Paul Airlines - and Adventure On!<img src="tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-squidder.gif" alt="squidder">

I am slowly working my way through the adventure packs. They have proven very challenging and forced me to learn new flying skills. I am grateful you have taken the time to create these and find them to be a very valuable addition to the St. Paul Airlines experience. Good job!

Thanks Paul,

That's great to hear. It has increased my knowledge base too. In addition to the scenery development, the deeper look at these historic flights and events offers a new perspective when you can fly them in the sim.
