Amending Pirep after submission

Hi:

Well, I need some help and discussion in relation to Pirep errors that are found following submission of same.

An example, I am presently doing the Bush Tour for BC, NWT and AB in Canada and yesterday, I posted all my Pireps with the incorrect dates

I submitted with the date August 15, when in fact it should have been the 16th of August.

Rather than bother someone (Hub Mgt), is there latitude to correct such errors on our own?

I respect the need for integrity here, and I would not expect anyone would "cross the line" when it comes to Pireps for our Hobby.

As a guy even senior (in age) to Yoland, I do make mistakes and since I keep my own Log of each flight, it sometimes only surfaces to me, following the Pirep being sent.

Thanks for that----May the "Pilot access to only their Logs" be pursued?----Seems like it is the way to go, to preclude bugging your Hub Manager and should be an easy fix.

Your "Journalistic" side is showing----Grin!

No Problem, your first paragraph (to me) implies, do not worry about the minor errors---- as ---everything balances out over time---The bottom line here is to enjoy our Hobby and always assume honesty is part of the Hobby, which it is for me. I really do not care about total accumulated hours, it is just the fun of Flying.

So, no more from me with Pireps, if I screw up a Pirep, (and recognize it), it will be left alone in our SPA history files.

In hindsight, I was too concerned about a very minor issue and therefore I apologize to both you Yoland and John for bothering each of you with this Pirep item.

Keep up the good work on behalf of SPA.
