Hey everyone!!! Been awhile since I posted something. Anyways, I went thru a major harddrive failure and now am using FSX on my new Vista system. I have most of the SPA aircraft installed. I cannot edit the aircraft.cfg files. I used "Notebook" to open them and when I hit save it says to check that path. The path is right. I can't figure it out.
Also what is the best traffic program. I used Ultimate Traffic on FS9.
Any help is appreciated.

Dave,
I got help with this problem from Naresh a couple of years ago when I started using Vista with FSX. First make sure you are logged into your machine as administrator. Then go to the aircraft configuration file, right click on it and then click on properties. Click on the security tab. Click on Users from the group or users names. Hit the edit button and check the "Full Control" checkbox. This will let you save the file as a .cfg file. This should solve your problem
