I think it is about time I posted the answer to this question.
The number inside ( ) represents the altitude above touchdown zone or TDZE (Touchdown Zone Elevation). Usually touchdown zone is the runway threshold. The runway numbers (i.e. 32L) is painted on the runway threshold.
If you look at the information inside the orange square in the picture above, it says 'THRE 41'. It means runway threshold at 41 feet.
Let's say you are at intersection WONKO at 3500 feet MSL during this approach. You will have to descend 3459 (3500-41) feet before touchdown.
So, in this case, the best answer would be 'Above runway elevation'.
