I tried a flight with the Airbus in FS2020,. clumsy for me to figure out . Probably the last flight for with the Airbus. I'll wait on a B737-800.

It really is one of the easiest, and I would say quite fun, aircraft to fly if you take the time to learn it. The autothrottle doesn't work like other aircraft and you need to understand the difference between managed mode and selected mode. I hated it at first too but once I learned how it worked I've been hooked.

Yep, it's still my most favorite commuter jet with the new sim. Landing it is a bit more of a challenge, I think due to the improved flight model than the old FSX planes, and I often hit a bit hard. Also, our Econ model isn't set quite correctly for this large of plane, so you really have to load it up and skimp on fuel to not have penalty. I think the fuel penalty is unrealistic for this type of plane, and needs to be adjusted if I ever get time to look at it again, but I don't want to mess it up for the bush Econ flights we have set up currently either.
Anyway, it's a fun plane to fly in the new sim in my opinion also.

For me X-Plane is much better and I think the scenery is better.

Remember John, we set up the Econ model in an attempt to make it fit aircraft from bush aircraft to B777s without any adjustable input parameters. Probably unrealistic, but up til now, the biggest problem seems to have been at the light end. I wonder what changed.

I must have reversed things in my mind Mike, not having done official Econ flights for awhile. I think it was because all of our Econ flights seem geared to bush aircraft but for MSP Center, but then it seems we had issues regarding carrying fuel for a return trip would cause the first leg to be losing money because fuel penalty was based on a one-way flight and not a round triip.
I'm not sure anything is wrong with the model now that I've been flying a few flights with the A320, other than the reserve fuel allotment might be a bit low, resulting in excess costs (or at least a scolding message for carrying too much fuel on the trip). Regardless, my two flights today showed a good profit...too good even I'm guessing. I think we can beat this thing to death and still not cover all the possibilities.
