Help, My Assignments Have Changed

If you are a Cat 1 pilot (Commuter First Officer), flying Category 1 scheduled flights, you may find that your flight assignments have just been changed. Your next assigned flight may be a higher number than it was, or a lower number, or it may not have changed at all. You may think that you have been assigned to refly a flight you have already completed.

Be of good cheer, everything is well. We have modified the Cat 1 and 2 flight schedules for the MSP Hub. As a result, your new assignments refer to the new schedule and a given flight number (e.g., 1100) now corresponds to a different origin and destination than it did. I have adjusted your assignments so that your next departure airport will be the same as your last arrival airport. That way, you will not have to waste your valuable time dead-heading over to a new departure airport without a valid assignment (and thus without that lucrative paycheck).

To understand all of this a little better, you might want to go back and read my post titled "News for All MSP Pilots".
