Pilots:
Philippe let me know that the site was down a short time ago this morning, and I found that I could not access it either. I contacted our provider and they have verified our server had gone down and they restarted it. They will be doing some testing to try to identify the problem and get back to me on their findings. Hopefully this issue will be corrected and we will have a stable system again shortly. If pilots find that the site is inaccessible, please contact your hub manager or me by email and advise us of the issue so that I can get the message as soon as possible and get it corrected. Our email addresses are most likely in copies of PIREP emails you receive when you file a priep, even if you can't get to the website to access them. That might help expedite getting things fixed when this happens. Fortunately, it has only been a rare occurrence.
It's possible there may be some brief interruptions of service today as the provider does some testing on the system. For today, I would recommend running SPAACARs in non-Econ mode so that you can manually push the send-pirep button rather than have it automatically sent upon landing. That way if the uploaded pirep hits just as they are working on our system, you can check the website to be sure it's up and then push the button again to try and resend the pirep. That option is not available in econ mode with the auto-send nature of econ mode.
This is a provider (server-side) issue and not something that I or your hub managers can fix locally.
Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, or might cause in the near future.

Pilot,
It appears that the issue was found and dealt with by our provider. So hopefully there should be no further interruptions of service related to this issue.

Unfortunately I found the server down again last night and had to contact our provider again. They will continue to work on the problem and I'll update when I learn more.
