New Photo Gallery Operational

I believe the new photo gallery is up and running correctly. Like the other, it will require a separate login and user from our main website. For those of you who have had a photo album in the past, I've established an new user account for you under your user name. There's a link on the main login page to be sent a new password. Please click on that to establish a new password that should be emailed to you. For those of you who want to have a photo album and haven't had one previously, please contact me by email and I'll set up a user account for you on the gallery.

I currently have things set so that you can only change your own pictures. I've added the previous pictures you had there before the last backup if they were under 1000Kb. This is the new size limit for a picture to be uploaded. Some of you will have to make adjustments to your photos to ensure that they meet this requirement for future uploads. For the few of you who have created multiple albums (folders) to organize things, I'm sorry to say that I have disabled that feature here too. This is mainly for housekeeping purposes. I will sometimes require you to clean out your photos to make room for new ones so that we can keep our backups from getting too long and too big. It's more difficult for me to identify the large amounts of pictures when they're hiding in subfolders.

I've tried to maintain the pictures you had before, because I draw from that collection in the start of the new year for our annual St. Paul Airlines video that shows up on the home page before you log in. I also have the backed up photos, and if you really want/need to have a copy of them, email me and I can zip them and email them to you or provide other download.

You can drag and drop many pics at once, but lets not get crazy with that. Also, you may wish to add a title to the pics once you upload them. That way there's a description that shows on the picture, and is included in our "Latest Image" area. The "Latest Image" area is again my own creation. It still works like the last one. You can click on the picture to see a larger image, or the link at the bottom to get to the image in the actual photo gallery.

Multiple failed login attempts will get you banned from the photo gallery, so if you're having problems with your login, let me know. I can help get it figured out and yes...even get you unbanned. I managed to ban myself from the gallery twice already - and I'm the administrator <img src="tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-icon_confused.gif" alt="icon_confused">. Anyway I figured out how to smash my way back in, so don't worry, I can open the door from the inside and let you back in too.

I think that about covers things for now. I kind of rushed this install, so I'm still learning my way around it too.

Go to "My Gallery" and then there is a button "edit files". In there, the top-right checkbox "select/unselect" all by the red 'x' will select all for delete. Then unclick the ones you don't want deleted before clicking "apply changes" at the bottom of the screen

Sorry about that. I've taken control of your album for some testing to figure out why it looks different than mine. Stay tunned...

Surprisingly, I'm only seeing the 1-pic at a time delete method for users that you found. I can delete groups as admin. I'll keep looking into it. See my new thread related to deleting pics.
