Pilots,
I'm pleased to say that we've completed our site migration to SSL. You will not notice much regarding this upgrade other than the start of our website (https://). I've also made adjustments so that all connections are redirected to our secure site rather than the unsecure side. This means that data transferred between our site and user computers will be encrypted. Emails, passwords, etc. will no longer be sent across the Internet as plain text.
I believe I've corrected all or most of the links that are capable of being changed over, and I've tested the all the pages (at least most of them), and the ACARS uploads. All of these things appear to be functional under the SSL connection to our website.
This latest upgrade signals to visitors and prospective members that our site is more secure than those still running on the non-secure "http://" sites.
For those wishing to improve security a bit further, you could update the two lines inside your SPA.ini files from "http:" to "https:". Otherwise, you can wait a bit and I'll eventually change the downloadable file to reflect our new SSL connection. I'll let you know when that's done if you choose to redownload that file rather than manually editing it.
If you note any problems or have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Thanks guys, but it's only fun - and worth doing because our pilots enjoy flying with us. Many thanks to you guys, managers and pilots alike.
I'm very happy to be a part of St. Paul Airlines.

Thank you for doing this. It is a great improvement. You ROCK!
Maybe we should add to our bucket list a project to modernize our fleet downloads to keep current with today's enhancements.

edited by: SPA031, Sep 21, 2019 - 10:24 AM
