SPAACARS V. 9.0 Released

Pilots:

I've released V 9.0 of SPAACARS and it's available for download in the Downloads->Enhancements->Utilities folder. Note: After install you'll have to again re-select your ini file location from the settings menu the first time you use this version.

This version will prevent in-flight changing of:

Sim time/date
Aircraft Model
Fuel changes
Payload changes

Changes made to these settings after the "Start Log" button is pushed will result in a popup warning message from SPAACARS advising of the prohibited change and the data required to be reset in order to allow closing of the popup message and continuation of your flight.

I've tested this version on my test system but have not yet made any actual flights yet. Please give it a try.

After we verify that there's no big issues with this release, I'll probably disallow uploads from earlier versions to prevent the data errors that can happen inadvertently with them.

Therefore I highly recommend that pilots upgrade to the latest release to avoid disruption in sending their flight PIREPs.

I'll look into that. The landing sound has always been a bugger for me - causing stutters, etc. I made changes a while back, I think maybe changing a format that might make it only work with certain codecs, but I'll have to fiddle with it again and see what it does.

Just a note - make sure your plane has more than 4 passengers, or it won't play. At user request I did that so it would not play for small aircraft/bush type flights, but it should play for more than 4 passengers in the passenger field.
