SPAACARS Version 5.6 Available for Download

I discovered a few bugs in the latest update. I've corrected these and added a few more sounds in version 5.6:
Bug fixes & Sound Additions:


<p>&middot; Corrects SPAACARS crash when unable to make internet connection</p>
<p>&middot; Corrects sound-related SPAACARS crash</p>
<p>&middot; Adds additional Sounds for Prepare for takeoff and Prepare for Landing</p>
<p>&middot; Initialized sound setting to initial aircraft configuration before starting (Prevents messages from playing when SPAACARS is first started.</p>


Current Sounds and Triggers:

<p>When &ldquo;Enable Sounds&rdquo; is checked in the Settings menu, the following sounds will be active:</p>
<p>SPAACARS will play passenger fright sound when G-Force exceeds limits (gforce.Value &lt; -0.3 Or gforce.Value &gt; 1.75)</p>
<p>SPAACARS will play landing announcement upon landing (and speed reduced to &lt; 25 KIA)</p>
<p>SPAACARS will play welcome announcement on initial pushback and safety message about 10 seconds later.</p>
<p>SPAACARS will play &ldquo;Prepare for takeoff&rdquo; sound when plane is on the ground and landing lights are activated.</p>
<p>SPAACARS will play &ldquo;Prepare for landing&rdquo; sound when plane is airborne and landing lights are activated.</p>
<p>SPAACARS will play &ldquo;Seat Belt Light On&rdquo; message when the seatbelt light is activated.</p>
<p>SPAACARS will play &ldquo;Seat Belt Light Off&rdquo; message when the Seatbelt light is deactivated

Hopefully this will be the last update for awhile - but who knows what I might discover as I continue flying this version.

That can be done, as I'm just putting the finishing touches on a new (almost entirely reworked) SPAACARS version. I'm hoping this latest version will solve many problems regarding freezing and reconnections, etc. I've currently replaced all the "computerized" voices with real recordings. Currently the voices all play when the 'use sounds' is checked in the settings menu. If the landing message is not appropriate for GA flights then the taxi/safety message would not be either and should probably be changed also. Wouldn't it be easier just to turn off the sound for GA flights? Although then you lose the screams sound also. Anyway - it's just a matter of deciding which is the best way of setting it up.
