The slipping-sliding part is inherent to FSX texture, but next time I might try adding a non-snow texture there to see if that can add some ground friction without messing up the look too badly.

To other 'adventurers' after you land be careful taxiing to the wreck site as you might slide right off the end. Be prepared to turn your plane and give power in the opposite direction, then kill your engines as just neutral prop speed can cause forward movement. Of course, you can always slew around a bit for a better view <img src="tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-freu.gif" alt="freu">.
