Pilots,

Although not as detailed as past adventures, Adventure Pack 4 takes you on a fantasy journey into the Devil's Triangle . See the Adventure Packs page for details and the ReadMe file inside the zip file for install instructions. Note: Flight numbers and flight route information is in the narrative on the Adventure Pack webpage.

That's ok Steve, like I said, these are optional flights that will be ready when you are.

And to Jim: Congrats on figuring out our photo posting process and taking advantage of Steve's hiatus by being the first to venture into the "Devil's Triangle" and share a picture.

Now for a hint; Scenario 2 takes a bit more effort to get to, but I'm most pleased with the special effects. Scenario 3 took the most work because Cotopaxi wasn't already modeled, requiring me to hobble together things to make it work. Interestingly, an Internet hoax regarding the sudden reappearance of Cotopaxi is Googleable, refocusing attention on the loss of this ship - and inspiring me to make it work one way or another.

Now I must go and fly to catch up with the rest of you - and work on more adventures that my overactive imagination and too much time on my hands has generated.

Thanks Jim, Sorry you had problems with the carrier landings. It has a lot to do with the plane. My Kodiak landings were sometimes more of a controlled crash on the deck. I figured anything that short of skidding overboard constituted a successful landing.

Don't let the carrier landings prevent you from enjoying Adventure Pack 3 scenarios . If you don't have a Beaver then switch aircraft prior to landing on the carrier to the default Piper Cub. Its very slow and should set down nicely on the carriers. Then, once in flight, switch to a plane suitable for landing in the water - and that's only necessary for the final part of scenario 1 where you land in the water at the Titanic. Also, the other two Scenarios have regular landing runways or water.

Yikes Jim, I think you found a lighthouse from one of your addon sceneries . The Cotopaxi is a ship like the others, and is either out in the water or just off an island if you have FTX Global/Vector. With the other two ships, I'm sure you have the scenery installed correctly, so you still likely missed it. It's actually at the SKIPS intersection. Fly from South Bimini (MYBS) and tune in the ZBV VOR at South Bimini (116.7). Fly away from ZBV on the 177 degree radial 9 miles to the SKIPS Intersection and you should find the ship. In fact you might even see it from MYBS (only 9 miles away on the 177 radial), but it might be hidden by the islands if you have FSX Global/Vector.
