Econ Module Update - Future Possibilities

This morning I've cleaned up the database for Econ Module a bit by deleting all the early flights that had fuel penalty and pre-changes in profit calc that resulted in overly high profits. I also deleted all the 'zero profit' entries resulting from the error in uploading necessary fields by SPAACARs versions earlier than 5.1.

Now I'm not sure how to move ahead with this module. Some ideas:

1. Add penalties for crashing or hard landing (loss of some of your profit)
2. Add extra profit for soft landing

I know Yoland has mentioned incorporating this into his Cargo/Freight Division. I'll check in with him on possibilities of what we might do with this like adding econ data to his pages at some point. I know he's very busy now, so we'll see. Ideally, it would be nice to be certain that we have all the econ 'tweaking' done by then anyway so that the data recorded won't be messed up by flights made with various calculations.

These are things pilots might think about - especially changes to the current Econ Module prior to incorporating it into other pages.

Remember not to think too much about changing the cost detail structure, as profit is currently a percentage of cost based on cargo capacity used as detailed in the Economics section of the Main Menu.

John I think your Ideas Are good you should get penalized for bad landing. Awards for soft landings is good but for trying to determine where good landing start and then adjusting the award from there so 200 ft/m is not the same as 10ft/m may cause you a programming problem hope you can work it out. I Know it easier to make a soft land in a Cessna 172 then in Boeing 777. lol hope you can work it out
