Important!!! New SPAACARs Version 5.0 Required For Future Upload to SPA

Pilots who use SPAACARS to upload your pireps:

In an effort to ensure that we're all using the most current version of SPAACARS, I've added a new 'verification release'. This version (5.0) will be the only version of SPAACARS that will work for uploads in the near future.

I'm trying to pinpoint errors related to econ module (no profit showing due to a failure to upload max gross wgt and cargo capacity). It's possible that the version being used by pilots is an earlier version that doesn't include that upload data.

I appreciate your patience in updating your SPAACARS to the latest version so that we are all using the most current version, as this will help me eliminate potential causes for missing data and other errors.

Note:

The most current version of SPAACARS is always in the Download area of Main Menu under "Enhancements" and then "Utilities". You will know when the version you are running is properly installed when you see 'verson 5.0' listed in the 'about' section of the SPAACARS menu.

For pilots who need help downloading and installing, please check the Main Menu under "Economics" and click "SPAACARS Instructions". That link shows you a pictorial tutorial on how to download and install SPAACARS. If you already have SPAACARS installed, just copy the newly downloaded and unzipped files over the old spaacars files you've been using.

A final note - do check your settings menu in SPAACARs after your new download is installed to make sure that you have set things the way you want (econ mode, sound enabled, landing rate). You can also verify your version 5.0 in the 'about' area of the SPAACARS menu.
