Please join me in a hearty round of congratulations for John Rogers (jer29) on his promotion to Fleet Captain. John joined SPA a little under two years ago as a Commuter First Officer and has logged over 500 hours of flight time since then. John is one of our most active and accomplished pilots. He flys the big iron (particularly the B767-300) and the small aircraft. He is also a technically accomplished flight simmer with a pretty impressive three screen set up. John has some pretty impressive expertise about some of the more obscure technical aspects of lfight simulation, as you can see by reading some of his recent posts in the Forum.
Congratulations John; it's great to have you with SPA.

Thanks for making me feel welcome here. You folks really got me started with your tutorials and helpful advice.
Then Chris Palmer's AOA stuff really made me appreciate some of the add-ons that really improved the sim experience - and the fun of small aircraft. Those add-ons, the Alaska scenery - and Yoland's bush flights in that area have been great fun.
I've been playing with VOXATC lately, really increases my multi-tasking - and I might try that VATSIM again yet!
Thanks again,
jr
