Dobratz Makes Fleet Captain

I suggest a standing ovation for James Dobratz. In just 12 months and 27 days, James has gone from being a new Communter First Officer with zero hours to being a Fleet Captain with over 500 hours. For those of you keeping score at home, that means that flying has been 1/4 of a full time job for James over the last full year. Figure that out in dollars per hour. In my time with Saint Paul Airlines, I have never known a pilot to fly with such devotion and consistency. His PIREPs just keep coming in steadily, one every day or two, week-in and week -out. It took him just 135 days (I guessed it would be 150 days) to fly the 200 hours required to progress from Sr. Capt. to Fleet Captain.

So, I will buy the first keg this time. However, let me caution those of you scheduled to fly tomorrow: no drinking for 24 hours before your flight

Congratulations James. Now that you've made the "big time", I hope you don't lose your interest in flying.

Oh no, not more drinking!! You people sure are a drinking bunch. I will just have to watch, as I'm too old for all this drinking. Still having lot of fun. Thanks.
James.
