Online Flight In Memory of Gordon "Gordy" Schultz

All,

I know it's been a long time coming but I think it would be great to do an online flight in memory of Gordon Schultz. Since it is really close to the holidays and I'm sure a lot of folks are going to be busy for the next 2 or 3 weeks, here is the plan:

Our fleet manager Paul Deans has graciously volunteered to do a repaint of our DeHavilland Dash 8, which is one of the aircraft that Gordy flew a lot of the time, in memory of Gordon. Once this is done and posted, if you are going to do the online flight, download and install it and we will use the repainted Dash 8 for our online flight.

The plan for the flight will be to depart from St. Paul Downtown Airport / Holman Field (KSTP) and arrive at General Mitchell International Airport (KMKE) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I'm going to hold off on posting "for sure" times for this because I want to make it at a time where everyone can participate.

If anyone has suggestions for times, please post them here.

Great idea Eric; I'll plan to be there. Meanwhile I'll brush up on my Dash 8 skills and be ready when the time comes.

This will be about 2 to 3 weeks from now, so count on sometime around the 5th/6th or 12th/13th of January.

When we do an online flight we do it on our own server (actually, Naresh's server), not on VATSIM servers. The instructuions for connecting to our server is right on the top block of our home page.
