Thanks Larry for this Tour. I'd like to give it a go with the Aerostar, should be suitable for most legs.
Is it okay if I start the tour in Nuernberg in Germany? Would be just nearby, 2h per car to the airport and I could just slip into my aircraft and off it goes

Hey Oswald, I'm sure it would be ok as long as you end where you started from. In the event there are missing airports, just choose a suitable airport nearby the missing one. You will still need to use the scheduled airport ICAO in the SPAACARS airport field otherwise it will not be accepted. As long as the origin and destination ICAO and the flight number match that listed in the schedule, SPAACARS will be satisfied (it doesn't know what airports you actually take off from or land at).
Happy flying,
John

I finally completed the world tour today in a Beechcraft Bonanza. There was no brass band to receive me at Minneapolis, however. Oh Well! It was fun anyway and I saw and learned a lot on the way. I highly recommend it to everyone.

I must say, I do like this tour a lot. Though tonight my flying skills got to a limit due to a planning mistake: On the way from VNBW to VQPR (Paro airport) I simply departed too late and it got darker and darker for visual approach, see photos.
Luckily I had practiced standard visual approach procedures beforehand, therefore I had an idea what to do in the last shimmers of dusk. Unfortunately there were no rwy lights, I missed RWY 33, made a go around to try RWY 15, missed that too (very late left turn in the final s-curve), second go around, too high for RWY 33, standard approach to RWY 15 (well, sort of ...), safe landing despite continuous nagging of ATC about being to low, terrain, pull up and all sort of stuff.
Happy flying!
