Pilots:
I'm pleased to add the latest sightseeing charter to the Bush/SOP page. This charter is very similar to the Minnesota Sightseeing Charter, only this one includes a flight plan so you can't miss finding those wonderful sights that Florida has to offer. Also, there are a surprising number of them included, in whole or in part, with the default FSX/P3D scenery, so you don't necessarily need to download and install our additional scenery addon. Still, I must admit that you're really missing much of the fun if you don't use our scenery to complete this charter. The FL Charter page covers in detail what you can see with and without the addon. As usual, it includes the Pilot's Briefing and Passenger Itinerary with pictures of the sights to be seen. I've included both the FSX/P3D flight plan and an XPlane flight plan, but I can't say what the Xplane scenery might or might not include regarding this charter. All you can do is fly the flights and see what's there when you get to the waypoints included on the flight plan. This is listed as an award flight, but the award is yet to be developed.
Happy flying,

Good timing because ORBX now has a new scenery pack for just Florida.

Great news from ORBX. I just hope they offer it for P3D. If it's anything as nice as The Orlando package they offer it will be on my Must Buy list.
Just completed about 3/4 of the Caribbean Tour. I'll start up the Florida soon as I'm finished. Might sneak in a few side trips over the Jacksonville area, the beautiful Florida Keys including the Dry Tortuga's and Fort Jefferson, and finally the Sunshine Skyline Bridge and Tampa Bay.

Just make sure to keep your "ORBX Central" software current. They are always working on new features and security.
I am also waiting for the P3D version of Florida. There are a lot of retired pilots living there, and it is expensive for them to own and operate a real aircraft. ORBX would be a good tool to use for flight planning purposes.

I'm holding off on buying additional Orbx until I see what FS2020 looks like, costs, performs, etc. Then I'll make a decision as to whether I'm sticking with P3D or moving back to MS Flight Sim.
Fortunately, my Florida Sightseeing scenery works with both default FSX/P3d scenery and Orbx Global/Vector. Probably will with their FL for the most part too, since the more big-name sites are default landmarks not added or altered in my scenery addon, and will likely only be enhanced with their Florida Scenery.
If the FS2020 is based on satellite imaging then I would guess that our MN, FL sightseeing offerings, and any future ones, won't require additional scenery addons - as the various landmarks should all be simulated.

Just started your Florida sightseeing tour John. I had a hard time to find your first landmark, Florida State Capitol building. After a little troubleshooting, l found out that some of my scenery settings were set
too low. So, after a few test flight, l found that my (Special Effects and Global Texture Res.) were set too low, at Med. So l set them at more than 75 per cent, then l was able to see the building.
Other than that small problem, everything is ok. On to the next leg.
