Nice experience, to see from the virtual sky many sites I have visited on the ground so much times....The landing more dangerous was a Pristina, where I come after the sunset and with an terrific fog (thank you, REX!)...And obviously, thank you Grosjean, it's so fun fly in small airplanes!

edited by: feather, Jan 24, 2017 - 01:41 AM

Hey Gianluca, I agree with the fun of flying the small planes - and like the big ones now and again too though. I discovered the fun of small planes and navigating when I first flew the training flight here at SPA - I think was one of the bad weather flights without GPS, and using the navigation instruments to find the airport and align with the runway. The minute I saw the flashing runway center line appear out of the gloom I was hooked. Then I began flying the free Angle of Attack Aviator-90 videos and discovered the fun of flying the Beech Bonanza. I flew along with all of his cross country flights and that led me to the wonderful scenery and weather addons so that I could duplicate those wonderful videos on my own sim.

Yes John, the moment when you see a faint light, and understand that, if everything goes well, there is a runway down there, is truly priceless!
