Very interesting three legs Ft Nelson to Mile 422 to Watson Lake to Wolverine using real World Weather the flight was made between 500 and 1000 Ft AGL. So to get from Ft Nelson to Watson Lake had to follow the Alaskan Highway as most of the mountain tops where in the clouds and to help the valleys visibility was 3 to 5 miles in haze and light fog. So had to really stay on top of things not much room to turn around in the valleys. Why is it in low visibility the wind is always blowing the wrong way. The landing where challenging but very enlightening. I think Wolverine(CAD3) is the most challenging so far at 500 ft AGL trying to stay out of clouds over flew the field twice cause in sits in hole in the mountain. So the last Approach in my DHC6 was Flaps at 35 airspeed At 70 Kts passing over the mountain top went 900ft rate of decent and had to use half power to keep from stalling. Very Very interesting Lag to say the less real weather really makes these flights a real challenge.
