I've Finally ordered it!!!

After putting much thought into it i have finally ordered a new Joystick. I went for the Saitek "Cyborg Evo Force." I ordered it from Amazon today so hopefully it will be here by the end of the week or at least the start of next week!!!

The joystick has twist rudder, force feedback and a whole load of buttons so i'm looking forward to getting my hands on it!! I think as far as price goes it was pricey enough (For me anyway - about E90) but i think for what I'm gettin and from all the reviews i have read, it seems to be of very high quality and value for money!!

It took me quite some time to decide whether or not to get the force feedback version or not, as there was about E40 in the difference...but then i was doin a charter flight this afternoon and i could see the plane being thrashed around a bit in the turbulence and i thought how much cooler it would be, being able to feel it aswell!!! so that decided it for me!!!

Anyway...I'll let ye all know how it works when it arrives!!!

Try not to let all the turbulence throw you upside down now that you have "force feedback"....we don't want you hurting yourself falling out of your chair.

According to my quick search...E90 converts to about $125...

I'm really hoping it will be worth it...it's over three times what i paid for my current one!! I've only heard good things about it though

I know the feeling Cillian. I have an old MS sidewinder FF joystick. I love it. I have disabled ground force feedback in FSX though. It's too much.

I love the force feedback when I'm doing loops and sudden turns in Extra300. Sometimes I need to use my both hands!!

I did consider Logitech's FFB joystick but i read som not so good reviews...whereas 99% of the reviews for the Saitek were good!!!! plus it looks cool!!!

Woooo!!!! it came today...i love it!! it has a very nice feel...FFB effects are really good ( and strong) Naresh...i seee what you mean bout the Extra300

Just one quick question bout the force feedback...when experiencing turbulence...does the FFB usually kick in...coz it doesnt in mine??? Even though i suppose thats more to do with FS then the Joystick...
