FSX Not Loading

HELP.

When i try to load up FSX all i get is the splash screen at the start of the program then nothing after that.

I can here the hard drive working as it is loading the program but nothing after that.

When i close FSX i get the screen that tells you the what is wrong.this is what it says.

C\Doc~~1\Owener\Local~~1\Temp\WER4feb.dir001\fsx.exe.mdmp

C\Doc~~1Owener\Local~~1\Temp\WER4feb.dir001\ appcompat.txt


I dont want to re-install FSX if i can help it.

I am running XP with all the updates.

Thanks Yoland i tried a few off your tips but to no avail.

As i have FSX on a differant disc to everthing else i uninstalled everthing checked the disc for errors then defrag the drive now i will install FSX.

I am sorry to hear that Dave. I think it calls for a fresh install.

What i remember doing is clearing all the flights out of the log book.
I think there was a problem with this and there is a fix for it someware.

Did a fresh install and all is ok so far.
