Adventure Pack 8 is Posted

Pilots,

Adventure Pack 8 is posted. This is the Doolittle Raid over Tokyo. As always, the mission information is on the Adventure Packs page linked under the Special Operations area of the Main Menu and the related scenery and effect zip file is under Downloads -> Enhancements -> Adventure Packs. Send me any video clips you want considered for another video like I added to the end of Adventure 7, and feel free to set up some multiplayer flights with this mission - it's more fun that way. I'm guessing Steve and Larry M will have one planned at some point and I'll probably fly one with Larry C. and let pilots know in advance.

It has been brought to my attention that the link to the Arrestor Cable Utility in Adventure Pack 8 was not the download that I had described.

I was unable to locate the previous download, so I've added this utility to our Enhancements area of our Download area of our Main Menu:

Hey Steve,

I only tested it with FSX and it works great! Not sure about other sims, but I'd be surprised if it works for them. I haven't looked for other sim supported apps and this one is no longer being supported.

Congrats on completing the mission Steve! Sorry you had trouble with the freeware plane, but I'm glad that the award code worked this time. I always cross my fingers until the first pilot completes the adventure. The rest should work then. Could you launch from the carrier? Might help other P3D'ers to get through this adventure.

Hah Steve, yes, more military adventures are likely so we'll see. Thanks for the additional information regarding trials and tribulations.
