Our friend and President Robert Thompson has decided to resign and retire. He was an active member since 2006 and has accumulated more than 2400 flight hours. We regret his decision and we thank him for his long dedication to our virtual airline-

Accordingly, the Executive Committee of SPA decided to suppress the post of President and replace it with that of CEO.

Yoland Grosjean, who devotes much time and effort to the development of SPA has been appointed as our new CEO.

For the time being, he will keep all his other functions in the special operations department, EGLL hub and fleet section. We all wish him good luck in his new position.

Thank you very much.

Well done Robert!! As a relative newbie to SPA, I have witnessed many efforts by you to encourage we Pilots, and as noted by Naresh, you have been at it since 2006. For any VA, six years is a long period of time to put forward all the thought processes that encompass Flight Simulation, while running a VA and handling all of our other life responsibilities. I wish you well in your future endeavours.

For Yoland, sincere congratulations in your new role of CEO.
No one person is able to carry on in any Managerial role without ongoing assistance from within the group (read Simmers), so hopefully Yoland, you will find some great young Pilots that will be able to provide the noted assistance to you during your tenure.

My very best wished to both Robert and Yoland.

Kind Regards

Dan

as a pilot with hundreds of fun flying hours here, l want to thank Mr. Thompson for his knowledge and guidance for the operations of this airline, and wish him a happy retirement.
to Yoland, congrats on your promotion..., "too bad it doesen`t come with real income, you could upgrade to a bigger sailboat", for me to show my
appreciation of your work, is to keep flying your missions. 8-)

Very best wishes Yoland as our new CEO. Virtual airlines have a history of disappearing without trace from lack of interest from current members.
It is up to all of us to support Yoland in whatever changes he suggests. It is no good just standing back and waiting for someone else to do the job.
GET INVOLVED. The worst you can do is look a bit silly if you fail but the odds are you will make a difference.
Yoland if there is anything I can do then please SHOUT. I might even hear you on the other side of the world.
Good luck,
Biggles.
