Our beloved President has passed away.

Gentlemen,

It is with deepest regret to inform you that I was contacted by family member of Dave Raine, our prestige president has passed away on 01/06/10.

Dave Raine joined SPA in 2004. He was very active pilot, always eager to learn and make friends with fellow SPA pilots. He always found time for this hobby, especially flying multiplayer flights with us.

Dave took over the Special hubs in 2007. We enjoyed his challenging charter flights all over the world for about a year and after than he took over the post of President in May of 2008. Dave was looking forward to retiring in May of this year.

Dave Raine and his cheerful attitude will be greatly missed.

Our condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace.

I'm really sorry to hear this news! Dave was hub manager of the Denver hub when i first joined this VA a few years ago. He was a huge help in showing me the ropes here nd encouraging me to fly. He will be missed here!
