Distinguised Service Award to Larry Chew - SOP Manager, Long-Time Pilot, Contributor to SPA

Thanks to our President/Webmaster for this special award. Never expected this because, everything l do here is for everyone that flies at SPA. If anybody deserves an award of dedication for all the work done here is, John. On behalf of all the members, Thanks John.
You know, when our previous SOP manager left us, l was disappointed like everybody else was. But you know, there`s always somebody that comes around, and pick`s up the ball and keeps things going. That`s what l felt like when John (<em>ask me/or/your the new sop...)</em> something like that.
l`ve been doing flight plans for quite a while now, and being a SPA member all these years, l felt it was my duty to do this. l knew having John and Mike in my corner with all their expertise, we come out on top. We have new flight plans that are taking us all over the world
hopefully to the satisfaction of all our pilots. With John`s adventure packs, how can you lose. As l said before, we flew the Doolittle Raid with other pilots, total blast. Just something different from normal flight we do. That`s what SPA is all about, have fun wherever you flying to.

<em>l`m thinking of making a flight plan using just <strong>VOR and NDB.</strong></em> l did a 4500 nm flight using this procedure when l join my first V.A. a long time ago, took about a month or so to complete. I enjoyed every mile of it.
l won`t make it that long but, hopefully some of you will have fun with it. l have about 5 more of the lower states to do and they`ll be ready to be sent to the <em>process dept...(John`s) for posting...

</em>So pilots, you are thanking me everytime you take to the skies with your favorite aircraft. Like John, l` m having a ball flying the Amelia Earhart tour. Hopefully, you will take the challenge also.
