A
kind of "Labour of Hercules" organized only for the bravest SPA pilots!
Have
you got the gut to try it?
Are
you looking for a long range rally? Do you
like to fly props
aircraft? Do
you wish to visit remote and unusual places out of the ordinary
traveller’s
routes? Are you not bothered by having to achieve three or four rather
long flights a
month, beside your usual flight simulation activity?
If
you can
answer YES to most of these questions, then why wouldn’t you try the
ROUND THE WORLD TRIP WITH THE SPA
DHC6 TWIN OTTER? It can take you up to two
years or maybe less than three months to complete the task... but in
any case this very demanding
job is a unique experience that shall bring you a lot of expertise in
the
management of all the flight parameters linked with the handling and
the
navigation of a twin engines prop aircraft.

Always remember that
this program has been designed by the special ops department. Some
destinations are typical bush airstrips. The very short ones are marked
in red in the schedule.
Please, use real
weather settings and carefully choose the right time to fly each leg.
Going North, the daylight can be very short in winter and some of the
airfields are not lighted during the ni
ght.
To add reality factors, t
he
flightsim settings
should be adjusted so as to detect and take into account all crashes,
overspeed
and unbearable stress.
The
SPA special operations DHC6 Twin Otter
(complete aircraft with superb
panel and St Paul Airlines texture) is downloadable in the FLEET
section of the
SPA web site.
Of course using ORBX scenery add-ons
brings more life to all these forgotten places in the basic FSX package
but they are not required.
SPA
RTW SCHEDULE / Flight-plan from and to Miami

you find 2 ICAO codes, the first one
in green
is for FS9 and the second
in blue
for FSX
Airports marked in
